About the Author

Stephen M. Fry, Ph.D. is an author, physicist, technologist, entrepreneur, and former medical technology executive. He earned a Ph.D. in Quantum Electronics from UCLA and an M.B.A. from National University.

His political nonfiction includes Weaponization of Ignorance: How Lies and Misinformation Divided America, which examines how cognitive bias, media distortion, and political manipulation reshape belief, and When Ignorance Governs: Trump’s Return and Democracy Under Siege, which follows political misinformation into government.

The Integrity Gap grew from the practical challenge of promoting fact-based political discussion in an online environment where viral content often rewards emotional impact over accuracy.
